ROLE OVERVIEW
The Growth Manager is a pivotal role within our sales and marketing team, reporting directly to the Head of Growth. You will be the operational engine responsible for moving new business opportunities through the sales funnel with precision and creativity.


You’ll be responsible for coordinating complex pitch responses, managing go-to-market materials, and ensuring our prospect data is accurate and actionable. This is a role for a commercially minded "doer" who can balance the analytical rigour of CRM management with the creative storytelling required to win world-class brands.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Proposal and pitch coordination

  • Tender management: Lead the coordination of formal RFP and tender responses, ensuring that all deadlines, evaluation criteria, and submission requirements are meticulously met.
  • Proposal writing: Work with internal subject matter experts across product, engineering, and design to develop compelling, high-quality technical submissions.
  • Pitch narrative: Support the Head of Growth to shape the story of our proposals, ensuring our responses are clear, persuasive, and perfectly aligned with client needs.

Prospect research and CRM management

  • Market intelligence: Support the team by identifying companies that align with our GTM segments and researching key decision-makers and personas.
  • Data enrichment: Use tools such as Builtwith and ZoomInfo to increase the accuracy of our lead data, ensuring our outreach campaigns reach the right people with the right message.
  • Pipeline hygiene: Manage general CRM health, ensuring all calls, meetings, and emails are logged, deal stages are updated, and follow-ups are tracked.

Outreach and sales enablement

  • Lead qualification: Manage initial outreach and qualifying leads, including following up on LinkedIn Ad engagement and ensuring we engage with every high-priority account in a segment.
  • Sales collateral: Prepare background research, tailored case studies, and draft high-impact presentation decks ahead of prospect meetings.
  • Technology partnerships: Maintain a working knowledge of our key partnerships, such as Optimizely and Contentful, to confidently weave these into our business development responses.

 

PERSON PROFILE
Experience and technical knowledge

  • Agency experience: At least two to three years’ of experience in a business development, sales, or growth-focused role within a digital agency.
  • Digital understanding: A solid grasp of website and mobile app design and build, ecommerce, and Conversion Rate Optimisation services.
  • Proposal mastery: Proven experience in supporting on drafting proposals, coordinating pitch materials, and managing the administration of formal RFP responses from start to finish.
  • Sales tech: Familiarity with CRM systems and research tools such as ZoomInfo or Builtwith.
